Founded in 2018 by Kristen "Kiki" Brown, TRIBE brings together members of the community to share their talents, interests and gifts with children and families. TRIBE offers 50 unique classes each week for kids, all only $5 each, and also supports local Title I elementary schools and other community-focused initiatives.
Our Services
$5 Kids' Classes
50 unique and enriching classes each week for kids for $5 each, with no memberships or commitments required. We rely on our 130+ volunteers to lead classes on a wide variety of topics that interest them - from crafts to dance to sports to computer coding and more.
Community Closet
Free children's clothes and shoes, from infant to size 16. Families can shop the closet according to their needs, and exchange sizes as their children grow, thereby participating in the sharing nature of our mission.
Strategic Partnerships with Elementary Schools
After-school enrichment programs, field days, teacher appreciation events and other special programming for Seminole Heights Elementary School and Broward Elementary School, both Title I schools in Central Tampa.
Community Outreach
We partner with other nonprofits and organizations in the community, providing support where we can. We also host and participate in events for kids and families in Tampa, like the Winter Village in downtown Tampa and Spooky Stroll in Seminole Heights.
